CUTLER 2 Months ago  Mojo:
Jay Cutler is the man!!!!! He has the best arm I've seen since Jim Kelly. 11 of his 16 games were in winds over 20mph, so anyone can see that the weather screws up a good passer.

THIS GUY WILL BREAK EVERY CHICAGO RECORD

With the hiring of Mike Martz, Jay Cutler is in good position to run train. Martz has led many high powered offenses. He even got Jon Kitna to throw over 4,000 yards. Cutler will have a lot of chances to succeed. What do you guys think?

I think this will be a perfect marriage. Cutler needs a great coordinator and when it comes to airing it out they don't get any better than Martz. The only thing that the Bears need to do is to get some skill players around him via the draft or free agency that can make a difference with him.

This is a great move, Martz is a great play caller. Not only is he a strong play caller, he is also a play caller that fits in with the philosophy of Cutler. He likes to throw the ball deep and Martz like to take chances, so it is a really good fit.

How many great arms have come and gone? And yet, a mediocre arm like Drew Brees just won the Super Bowl and MVP. Why? because of accuracy, and great decisions. Jay is pretty accurate, but a bad decision maker. He switched places with Kyle Orton, and both teams had similar success. In fact, their career stats are reasonably similar. So, go Jay Culter. You can be the next... ummm.... Bubby Brister? And Orton can be the next Ken O'brien. Don't get me wrong, I like Jay Cutler, I hope he finds new success with a new coordinator, but I would not count on it.

Hopefully that light goes off inside of his head that allows him to make better decisions. He has all the tools but just hasn't learned to be patient and take what the defense gives him. He takes a lot risks and Martz will allow him to take more calculated risks. He also needs some more weapons, Aromashodu proved he can make plays but they need a little bit more. They should find some one in the draft.
