Just based on the teams that LT is visiting, he realizes that he is going to be a backup for the rest of his career. There are still some things that he can do, like pick up blitzes or catch the ball out of the backfield. I don't see him as an effective runner anymore at all. I have no problem with the Jets signing LT. I wish they kept Jones as he looked much fresher than Tomlinson. Tomlinson is a better back in the passing game and blitz pickup so that's a plus.
